Love will *really* find you.

All this hype about true love finding you in the end is oh so REAL! I mean, if we are patient enough then it should happen... eventually. Well, it happened to me, you know. And yes, it happens to animals, too! More specifically, birds.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that picture you see right there happened just this morning. You see, that bird in the cage came to us earlier this year (I think around late January or early February). It actually landed on my aunt's shoulder and the househelp caught it and put it in the old cage. I don't even know what kind of bird that is but it has this very shrill tweet that I could mimic when I purse my lips and try to blow inside. You know how to do that? I bet. Anyways, so this bird has been tweeting like crazy over the past few weeks. I only tweet via Twitter and I don't speak bird so I don't know what the hell it's trying to say.

But lo and behold! A month or two later, another bird of its kind comes around... Must be the mate? Awww.. how tweet! Err.. sweet!


Do you see that look on its face? It's looks so mad. So my dad said we ought to set the birdie free and my mom chirped in saying it should be with the love of its life. Nax... *rolls eyes* I have a feeling they're trying to send me a message with that. Or feeler lang gyud ko. Tee hee.

So I guess what I'm also trying to say here is we should not lose hope because no matter how long it takes, love will find a way and it will find you somehow, someday. :)

Total randomness & the 2nd Weekly Contest Question!

I'm a really bad planner. I don't really set schedules because I'm not a big fan of routines. I get bored easily and I always crave for something new. (I'm guessing that's partly why I haven't settled down?) I think it's the personality that I have. I like spontaneity. I live for randomness. And I enjoy being impulsive. Although there are downsides to it all, but I can't imagine myself being monotonous.

All my life I wanted to be different. I think when you follow a crowd, you have a tendency to get lost. I've always thought I'd deviate from the norms. To do things my way. To make a statement. And that got me into a lot of trouble. Really. You know the kind of trouble that gets you a police blotter? LOL! But I'm happy because it's fun that way. I love life. I like living. I have stories to tell my grandkids! It's a great big world out there and I can't wait to spread my wings and fly. Wait a minute, I had my chance and if my memory serves me correctly, I think I tried that already.

But something was missing, you know. I couldn't do it alone. I needed somebody to be with me in all my adventures and misadventures. It was then I realized that it's true we are all angels with one wing. The only way to fly, therefore, is to embrace one another. I asked myself who was willing to fly with me. I took it as a sign when Vincenzo commented last year on my primary photo with the quote, "Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free till they find someone just as wild to run with them." He said he'd run wild with me anytime. It might not be the most romantic approach but it was pretty cute. Because after all, why be in a relationship that stunts your growth? We all need someone who doesn't merely tolerate but also builds us up and molds us to become better persons not by restricting or putting limits to the things we do. That is the kind of relationship that works for me. And boy, am I glad to find someone just like that.

I hope everyone gets to celebrate life and love the way I do. I thank God every day for this gift.

Creating, Destroying, and Restoring!

This is just a short entry on what's been happening just to keep track of progress. ;)

This is a great opportunity because as you can see I'm actually blogging and killing my hair at the same time! Very productive wouldn't you say?!

Trivia: Did you know I started dyeing my hair since I was in 3rd grade!? Yeah. That's a fact. You can ask my elementary classmates/teachers if you don't believe me. I've been called to the principal's office lotsav times especially when I get carried away with the colors. I think I've tried every color except maybe platinum blonde. Thus, my hair is extremely damaged after 18 awesome years of coloring/bleaching!

Now to put Sunsilk Damage Repair System to the test! Will report back what happens to me then.
Moving on... we're almost done with our latest project.




I'm not really gonna say what we're up to now. You can guess though. Or you can wait because as soon as we're ready...of course, I'll tell you. This is our baby. A product of our collective wild imagination, seeds of ideas brought to fruition, a not so calculated risk, and simply being the originals we believe we are. Alright, just wait and see. ;) Don't get your hopes too high though, but I can guarantee this will be explosive... provincially-speaking. Tee hee.

Blog of all blogs & the 1st Weekly Contest Question!

My blog is an evolution. It is much like the owner who went through a metamorphosis. My thoughts, my actions, and my words have changed over the years. My blogs have helped me all this time. It serves as a reflection and a constant reminder of who I am and what I aim to be. Okay, enough of that...

So I have compiled most of what I have written (save some for those really personal bits) over the years into this blog because I know now that when I die, this blog is going to be my first and probably only memorial... I had asked myself, "What would happen to my blogs when I’m no longer around?" I haven't found the answer yet but I know it will live on. Probably until someone shuts it down or what. Then I might need to come back and haunt that crazy bugger.

OMG! She's PMSing.

Right now I'm doing what I do best. I'm procrastinating. Yeah, yeah. I shouldn't because you know what they say... Procrastination is like masturbation. It feels good at first, until you realize you just screwed yourself. But I can't help it. Mother Nature screamed at my ovaries this morning, and they cried blood. :(

No wonder I got extremely indolent lately. Why do women have to go through these mood swings? I mean, it sucks! You wanna cry for no reason and get upset over little things! Ugh. When I see the words..."Have a happy period"... Me thinks whoever wrote that has a death wish. Seriously, man... You don't have to be a female to know a period doesn't really spell out happiness. I should say it's probably the end of it.

Come on, girls, you know exactly how this feels. Well, that is if you haven't had menopause yet. I wish there's a happy pill I could take when this time of the month comes, or maybe a remote control to fast forward the days to get it over with because when I woke up today, I realized and knew right then and there it was one of those "don't touch me, don't talk to me, don't even look at me" days. And when I think about it, the previous week was no different. Noodle Boy had to put up a lot with me. I can tell by the way he's being extra gentle with me. I guess he's too afraid to get in the way of the PMS Queen. Although he couldn't resist commenting how my boobs seem to look humongous! Nevertheless, when I opened my eyes this morning, I could have sworn I heard the Devil say, "Shit! She's awake."

What's up with this PMS anyway? Psychotic Mood Shift. Pass My Shotgun. Poor Me Syndrome. Pain Misery Suffering. Potential Murder Suspect. Pissy Mood Syndrome. Pretty Much Spiteful. People Must Shutup. I'm not sure what it is but if you ask me... it's like when you get mad, it feels like you could kill a polar bear with a Q-tip.

And I know something is wrong with me. I'm irregular so that means I get to experience this only about 7 x a year but it's no consolation because like today, I'm having mind-boggling cramps, fatigue, bloating, and this uncontrollable urge to stick pencils in other people's eyes. So I'm warning you, if you see me, please approach with caution. I'm not really myself...

I think I'll go ransack my mom's stash now. It should help some. I found out a couple of days ago that she has these treasures in her fridge.

I'm sorry, Ma. I really need it. As in, NOW NA!
